Cara is a partner with the firm and has honed her specialities of Private Client and complex areas of Property Law over the last 20 years. Since being appointed a Notary Public by the Chief Justice in 2006, she has worked in various capacities in the Faculty of Notaries Public in Ireland – the governing body of notaries. She has also served on the legal panel of the Mental Health Commission since 2010.
She studied law at Trinity College Dublin and, on completing her training, joined her father Brendan Walsh and Partners, in practice. She became a partner in 1997 and took over as Managing Partner of their firm in 1999. It merged with Mullany Solicitors in 2009 to become Mullany Walsh and merged with Maxwells on October 1st 2016.
